Frances Leiter Center offers child-centered therapy, family advocacy, and individual counseling for children and adolescents ages 2-18, referral services, support groups, and community education.

Erin Zelt, MA, ATR-BC, ATCS, CTP

Erin Zelt, MA, ATR-BC, ATCS, CTP, is a full-time art therapist for the Children's Aid Society at both the Frances Leiter Center and the Nicarry Center. She acquired her Master of Arts degree in Art Therapy from New York University-Steinhardt in 2013 and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in 2004. Erin provides Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) in conjunction with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) inspired art therapy techniques for teaching coping skills and calming strategies  

Leyre (Lady) Salazar

Leyre Salazar is a part time Family Advocate at the Frances Leiter Center and has a bachelor’s degree in Human Services. She is a professional who always has the passion to help and advocate for others. Her experience in the health and educational department, customer service, and recruiting has given her the knowledge to understand people's needs and to accomplish her goal of helping others. Working as a team is necessary to enhance services with colleagues in order to continue strengthening people’s lives. One of her missions is, “To be committed to the welfare of people everyday with the help of clients, staff, and the community.” Leyre also enjoys and loves hiking, reading, running, and baking with her family.
