Strategic Plan 2023-2027

The CAS board of directors and leadership team have developed the next strategic plan for the organization for the next five years.

Strategic planning helps nonprofit organizations like CAS to navigate the important decisions needed to make to deliver the greatest impact in our communities as we fulfill our vision to keep all children safe and feel loved and our mission of empowering children and their families to build stronger healthier lives through our compassionate and professional programs.

The 2023-2027 strategic plan includes the following four focus areas:

 Trauma Healthy Centers

By 2026 all three CAS locations will be recognized as Trauma Healthy Centers using the PA State DHS standards.

 Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA)

By 2026 CAS will be recognized in the community as an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible agency and a welcoming workplace.

 Program Impact and Delivery

By 2026 all of CAS programs and services are compassionate and professional and empowering children and their families to build stronger healthier lives.

 Governance and Board Development

By 2026 CAS will have a board of sixteen trained, committed, knowledgeable, engaged, and diverse volunteers who represent the communities we serve. Representing all facets of ethnic, professional, age, socioeconomic status, and religious.
